Although the real life V-1 is simple in design, the 1:1 version does have rivets along it’s panel lines and I would have liked to have seen more of those if this piece had come from one of the larger companies. Even with that concession, I still have to wonder how much more difficult or expensive to add a few more simple details like this.

There are some nice touches to the craft, most noticeably the small timing propeller on the nose. The propeller does actually spin and is a great detail that may have been left out in a rush. The nose where the propeller sits begins to come to a point, like the real version, but looks cut short. This doesn’t detract from the toy at all, but it did make me look closer when i saw how the real version looked.

The engine’s intake also has a nice crosshatch type pattern molded into it and the fuselage is also covered in authentic German markings to complete the crafts small details. Despite these things there is nothing on the aircraft that made me say “Wow” as I opened the box.

The bottom is almost devoid of any details at all, save for a few panel lines and what might be the “clamp” for the loading ramp. If that is, in fact, what it is, the clamp or fastener, whatever, is just a rectangular… thing.
