Yep! This tank also sports an interior section, something only found on the 21st Century Toys Tiger I tank and 21st Century Toys M41 Walker Bulldog tank. Hopefully at some point all 1:18 scale tanks will sport fully functional and detailed interiors.. but until then we can be satisfied with something!
First off, the method for accessing the interior is exactly the same as the 21st Century Toys Tiger I, you twist the turret 90° and pull straight up. It’s as simple as that. There is a little resistance at first, and I was afraid that I would break something, but sure enough it came off in one piece and everything was fine. Once you remove the turret you can access the interior crew quarters, and can fit all 5 crew members inside the tank, which is a nice touch.
The interior is weathered with mud and grime moderately covering the metal plated floors. Stored shells are stacked up along the Tiger’s interior walls. An expended shell and a troops equipment satchel round out the details within the turret. Noticeably missing from the interior details are any driving mechanism and the internal mechanics (i.e. gun handle) for the front end machine gun.
The detail is not overwhelming, but there are nice touches that really add to the overall appeal of the tank. The ability to remove the turret and add your full tank crew is a blessing to diorama builders and model photographers alike. I do not have a tanker crew to put in there, but I would imagine it would look pretty impressive fully loaded and rearing to go!
Can any one tell me When in gods green Earth will JSI come out with 1/18 scale Modern pilot for any modern jet plane. Sky works has several different types and they look like junk in my opinion and cost 30 to 35 dollars for each one. I sure JSI can do much better for the same amount of money. For the amount of Money JSI demands for this plane, I demand a modern 1/18 pilot; I can’t see why I would won’t to buy another jet plane unless it comes with a modern pilot. Any and all comment welcomed.
