Medal of Honor Review

The campaign is filled with rich detail.  Excellent voice acting and chatter among the soldiers.  A real world feel and great cut scenes help tell the story.  The main complaint is the length of the story.  Right around the time that you really get into the story,  it’s over.

I appreciated the fact that MoH has finally moved away from WW2 and gone to a modern setting and look forward to future additions in the series.  I won’t spoil the story however a sequel is already in the works.

Now onto the core of every First person Shooter in this generation of games,  the Multiplayer.  Since I started playing this game over a year after it’s initial release,  I had already heard rumblings about the game.  A typical response that I would hear is that the campaign was good and the multiplayer was lacking.

I agree and disagree with the above statements.  I enjoyed the campaign however I didn’t find the multiplayer lacking at all.  I did discover it to have a steep learning curve.  An average FPS gamer can pick up a Call of Duty and start playing it and become good after a few hours.  MoH takes some extra time and that’s okay.
