Battlefield 3 Review

The remaining DLCs already have names and release dates.  Armored Kill is due in September,  Aftermath is coming in December and End Game is planned for March 2013.  It’s great that DICE and EA have dedicated so much content to keep the game alive.

Overall it’s tough for me to score BF3.  The game is awesome,  no denying it.  However I just didn’t have as much fun playing the game as I would have expected.  A decent story mode,  fantastic visuals and audio with a vast and ever growing online mode is overshadowed by the controls.  I’m not kidding,  if the controls were fixed,  I might call it the greatest FPS of all time.

The bonus of creating your own servers,  easy to maneuver online mode and menus plus crazy amount of DLC planned help bring BF3 a 9 out 10.  This game was reviewed exclusively on PS3 and is available for Xbox360 and PC.
