Resistance 2 Review

You will play the entire campaign as Hale with several supporting characters.  Fyodor Malikov is a Russian Scientist who is responsible for a anti-Chimera serum and  American Corporal Joseph Capelli are too of the most interesting ones.  Capelli and Hale share a chilling moment at the end of the game that will change the Resistance franchise forever.

Although the campaign was shorter than I expected,  I still enjoyed it very much.  The ending was very dramatic, sad and leaves you with even more questions,  not knowing what to expect for the next installment.  The epic boss battles reminded me of the old days in gaming.  The size of the Kraken and Leviathan really give you an idea of what your up against and give you a satisfying feeling when you defeat them.

The graphics are a significant improvement over the first game and at the time of release was one of the best looking games on the market.  Even though you are still at war facing the extinct of the human race,  the game is much more colorful than Fall of Man.

Resistance 2 has fewer missions than the first game however the large scale battles are still around with several hordes of Chimera attacking all at once.  At times you will face 20-30 enemies at once and the frame rate never slows down.  The audio gives you nothing to complain about with great sound effect quality and excellent voice acting.
