Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Review

Black Ops 2 features a League Play mode now as well. You and your friends can create online teams with unique names and emblems and compete against other teams throughout the world.  After a few games, your skills will be evaluated and you will then be placed with players of similar skills and you can battle it out in your league.  I haven’t personally done much with this mode however it’s a neat concept.

Uploading games and kills have been made easier with the revamped Elite mode and a mode has been put in place for beginners of the CoD franchise.  You can play Combat Training for up to 10 levels and then continue to do so fighting bots but you will only earn half the experience.  I haven’t played this at all yet.

Overall I really enjoyed Black Ops 2.  The Online mode has been revamped and tweaked for the best.  The new score streaks and loadout options are great and I hope to see them in all future CoD games.  The single player story was interesting and the 1980’s missions were the highlights for me.

I reviewed this game exclusively on the Playstation 3 and the game is available for PC and Xbox360 as well.  A entertaining story,  almost unlimited replay value,  innovative changes and excellent gameplay earns Black Ops 2 a 9 out 10.
