X Review: FSS Jinx

Sculpt

Jinx uses what was intended to be the ‘City-Strike Scarlett’ mold. Which is a rehash of the Resolute Scarlett mold. Which uses the same upper legs, knees, and feet of ROC Helix. Not a bad path to travel. Some were upset that CS Scarlett never made it to retail, but Jinx uses the mold well, and it seems far more suitable for a ninja like Jinx rather than a “ninja” like Scarlett. There are fine details, like creases and buckles and straps, which works out quite well on the bodysuit. It gives her a sleek look without sacrificing any mobility.

The only real downside I can see with this is the head. Giraffe neck aside, while using a remold-resculpt VvV Agent Jinx head seems like a smart and reasonable decision, truth is it’s simply far too small to work with the rest of the body. Even though it’s not THE same head, it’s still cast far too small. They should have used the SDCC Jinx white variant’s head, or found something useful from any number of sculptors and casters in our world that would have loved to be given a chance to create something like that. It’s nothing more than a failure on their part in using this head, which seriously detracts from the overall look.
