1:18 King Tiger – Prototype!

Fresh off his successful WWII Russian T-34 and WWII German Horton Ho-229 projects, pickelhaube has been working hard on getting the prototype finished so the King Tiger is ready for casting.

This time around he had the original parts made via a 3D printer. Though he still had to actually put all the pieces together, which from the pictures looks like a pretty time consuming task! He had to break down the track piece by piece to make the master.

So far the tank is looking outstanding. There are tons of details in the model, and it will most certainly fit in with the rest of the 1:18 WWII tank collections. I can’t wait to see some of these finished and painted.
