X Review: Snake Eyes

review-history01

There are, I believe, sixty-three previous versions of Snake Eyes, starting in 1982. He’s been available single carded, in various box sets, two and three packs, etc. For one to say that Hasbro pretty much flooded the market(and the brand) with Snake Eyes is an understatement. Do we really need an incarnation(or five) per year? It certainly seems like Hasbro thinks we do.

He is, however, still one of the most popular characters in the brand. Children’s(and adult) costumes, play swords, all these different versions of the figure; Whatever the formula seems to be, Hasbro has figured it out, because no matter how we lament another Snake Eyes figure being released, they are apparently being purchased.
