Sculpt Articulation Paint Accessories Package Overall
A A A A D A-

Overall is not an average.

This has some unusually high scores compared to other figures I’ve reviewed. But, in all honesty, this is one of the better figures I’ve reviewed. I’m certainly not going to say Hasbro is so awesome and the best and… no. I still think Hasbro’s made some stupid, stupid mistakes, and there’s too many people out there who are going to make excuses for them in the hopes Hasbro will listen. Seriously, folks, Hasbro only cares about one thing, and that’s the bottom line. Moolah. Money. Green. They may throw us a bone once in awhile, but they cater their market to kids who don’t give a damn about those characters we loved in our own childhoods.

That said, Snake Eyes is still a good figure. Great sculpt that strongly resembles the on-screen version, great articulation, great accessories(minus the zipline), and excellent, subtle paint apps. Sure, the packaging sucks but you’re going to have that in this line. I only hope that the cards improve somewhat, post-movie. If I collected Joes as well as Cobras, I’d want this Snake Eyes in my collection.

review-notes01

Found him at Wal-Mart for $9.96. These waves seem to be filtering into the wild slowly, but I did finally see some at Target, taking up the space that Wave 1 crap was using up prior.
