Using the same sculpt head to toe as the POC Shock Trooper means a nicely detailed, broad shouldered, stocky looking soldier. As one of the first sculpts that I truly enjoyed seeing brought into the line, I can’t find anything to gripe about. Well, maybe the appearance of the long neck when combined with the neck piece of the balaclava head.
Articulation is as it was on the Shock Trooper. It’s a good thing, too, that they made no changes to the mold in this instance. The trooper can take on pretty much any pose you put it in, and the vest isn’t as restrictive as some might think. It looks bulkier than it really is.
So, articulation is as follows: Head, shoulders, elbows, swivel-and-bend wrists, torso, hips, double-knees, and ankles. That’s more than sufficient for any soldier. And on mine, the joints are tight and the poses hold for as long as I need them to.
