The Invincible Iron Man, volume 1: The Five Nightmares

Written by Matt Fraction, art by Salvador Larroca, published by Marvel Comics

Overview

Tony Stark, director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Iron Man, has five recurring “nightmares”: 1) that he gets drunk tonight, 2) that Iron Man would become cheap, easily and affordably replicable, 3) that someone other than himself or Jim Rhodes would start piloting Iron Man, 4) that Iron Man becomes disposable, and 5) that the person who would make Iron Man cheap, easy to use and disposable wouldn’t be him.

They make more sense in the context of the story, honest.

Art

Art is by Salvador Larroca. It’s pretty, particularly when he’s drawing the armor. It does occasionally look overly photo-referenced, mostly with facial expressions.
