review-sculpt01

The sculpt, overall, would be fine if they had addressed some issues to make it better. They omitted the coat-skirt at the waist, so the too-skinny Spirit Iron-Knife legs are revealed, and add to the bizarre proportions the figure has. The Snake Eyes/Snow Serpent torso is all right, even paired with the Air Tight arms, but the collar/shoulder fur which works on the Snow Serpent, fails miserably here, and only serves to further emphasize the long, giraffe-like neck. They could have found any number of winter hood sculpts to use.

And let’s talk some more about that neck, hmm? All other things aside, you give us this giant, bulbous, modified 80’s Iceberg head, which tops that space-needle tall neck like a freaking mutated bobble-head. And the “Oopsie, China misunderstood us when we said, “Use this head as an example”” is the biggest bullshit excuse I have ever heard. You apologists go on believing that crap. But deep down inside, you know full well the only misunderstanding was the lie that said it wasn’t the final head. You don’t produce on that scale without first getting a look at everything together. You didn’t notice the wrong head? Or did China pull a switcheroo and they’re saving the head for something else??

No. Clearly, the answer is you are a bunch of morons, who tried desperately to cover your ass after giving us the biggest turd of a figure I’ve ever seen. And like fools, many of us believed in the crap you were feeding us, and paid for another year of your lies anyway!

review-articulation01

Thankfully, the giant head doesn’t affect the articulation, but on the figure I had the displeasure of reviewing, the hip joints were so loose that it was a miracle that I even got him to hold any pose at all. Sure, there’s fixes for it, but people didn’t pay money for membership and a free figure that they have to fix.

That aside, it’s got what you want with a 30th+ figure. Bobble-head, shoulders, elbows, swivel-and-bend wrists, torso, hips, double-knees, and ankles.
