The Fighting 1:18th! The best Military 1:18 scale site on the net!
First up is File #43 “Book of the Dread”. The first thing that stuck out to me was the use of the Noks! As a big fan of Dreadnoks, I was excited. I also noticed the length of the comic, which was much longer than a usual strip from Numbers. The banter between Buzzer and Flint was awesome and of course the fight.
Then things started to get weird. Crappy Star Trek Figures, Green Plastic Army Men, and figures I’ve never seen before. What was this comic coming too?!? Honestly though, I had faith in Numbers and everything worked very well on this panel with a lot of story being fleshed out. When I saw the “to be continued” at the bottom of the strip, I was pumped.

One final note I want to add is the little details that Numbers puts into the comics that make it so enjoyable. The Nok jive, the green speech bubbles for the Army Men and the sound effects like the knee to the crotch. It’s these small additions that add to the experience that doesn’t get appreciated enough in my opinion.
