It’s not a bad sculpt, really. There’s plenty of muscle detail, but at the same time it’s muted enough to give the illusion that he’s wearing a bodysuit. The bracers have some textured detail to them, the face is a bit generic though. Moreso with the mask. The feathers are sort of bland translucent garbage, though I suppose that makes them fairly accurate to a lot of pictures I’ve seen of the character, and that they are, perhaps, those “Hard Light” holographic wings. Certainly, the sculpt conveys Falcon quite well, if it does nothing else.
The figure’s articulation is one of the better ones in this line. Unlike Hawkeye before him, for instance, Falcon has a torso joint and ankles! But no wrists movement. Regardless, he moves pretty well despite the ball hips of Marvel’s past, which have limited movement. He would have been more improved by having the better articulated neck, as well.
For articulation, Falcon’s got: Head, shoulders, elbows, torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double knees, and rocker ankles. Just a couple minor changes and he’d have perfect articulation. I really don’t know why it’s not all just standard on Hasbro figures. I think they’d sell more.
