REVIEW: Aliens Colonial Marines Xenomorph Lurker

The paint of these is really good.  It really only has a few dark colors but with some of the smaller details they managed to not have too much bleeding over to other areas.  Considering the sculpt this is pretty good. We have seen quality control issues with many other lines but the figure that I got was done well.  You can even tell the different details in the body sculpt with the paint applications.

Another area this line shines is with the accessories.  The figure comes with an egg, a facehugger, extra hands for different poses and a stand.  The egg has excellent detail as does the facehugger.  Pretty impressive what they tooled in order to get so much on such a small subject.  Of course multiples are needed in order to properly set up an attack on the Colonial Marines.  The facehugger is pretty much on point scale wise as it would be in the movies.  The hands have small pegs to caution would be suggested when removing and switching them out.  The pegs seem to be sturdy but because of the size switching them out constantly may not be the best idea.

About Anthony Spatucci

I was brought into collecting when the GI Joe 25th anniversary came out. After dealing with repaints and sub par vehicles I started searching around for something a little better. A friend turned me onto the fighting 118th and I started moving towards a more realistic "verse" for my figures. After seeing a few dioramas from members on the site I got the bug for them. There is a certain quality of person that contributes to the site and that is what has kept me coming back. Everyone is honest about what your work can have better and really helps you to get the best out of yourself. I am MAJOR BLOOD on the site.
