1:18 Biography
About me: I’m basically a lazy ass that stays home with my 2 year old daughter and plays WoW all day. I’m also on here, and other sites wasting my time. I’m married and been that way for 15 years now and have 2 kids, 1 is almost 13 and the other, well I already said that.

About my addiction:

As with most of us in this hobby, been playing with Joes since day one. My earliest memory of Joes is getting the MMS. Growing up, we didn’t have much money, so getting Joes and toys was a luxury at times. Many of it was reserved to bdays and xmas.

So my all time favorite memory of Joes is being at my friend’s house and my mom calling me home mad, telling me I need to clean my room NOW or else. I get home and she is FUMING! yelling, pointing, raising a storm. I walk into my room, and smack dab in the middle was the USS Flagg in the Box. As a kid, this is like a teenager looking at a fricking ’57 caddy. HUGE. Tears welled up in my eyes as I knew money was tight, and this thing was expensive. I hugged that box. Then my mom.

To this day I still have that same exact Flagg, although it’s be restored. It’s one of the things that keeps me involved with toys.

I collected 1:18th stuff when 21st came out with it the first time around and picked up many of the items. But was forced to sell it all when we moved from an apt to our first house. Down payments, insurance and all that are a PITA you know. Thinking back at what I gave up is depressing but hey.

When the 25th line came out, I was ecstatic, and picked up some here and there and of course vehicles were light, so I began picking up vintage ones. Then started getting super addicted and needed more and more and then found the Target BBi stuff. Once I found that, plus reading the thread in HT, I was linked up with all the other degenerates that had the same addiction that helped each other find the stuff to keep our bank accounts depleted, wives and girlfriends pissed off and pets and kids unfed.

Then the Monkey Depot had a sale, and boy did that sting the wallet.

So here we are, in our hanger……….
