1:18 Biography
Hello, my name is Paul Ernst and I’ve been a 1:18 addict.
I am one of the original founding members of “The Fighting 1:18th”, the web’s last, best chance at finding a place to BS without BS.
I am a relative newcomer in the 1:18 world, only really discovering the glory of this scale in early 2009. However, my it wasn’t long before my collection started to grow by leaps and bounds. I generally prefer the modern day vehicles and troops, but I have also slowly been collecting WWII models, if I can find them for a decent price.
I played with G.I. Joe action figures as a child, and have come full circle in that regard I suppose, however this time Joe has some serious firepower backing him up! I love combining the new 25th Anniversary /Rise of Cobra Joe figures with great modern 1:18 scale vehicles and gear, it’s the best of both worlds to me.
