Yeah, I have every one of Clancy's Jack Ryan novels, plus Red Storm Rising. I've read them all at least 3 times, and now they'e in a plastic tote in the garage, except for Rainbow Six which I've just started for the 4th time.

I've read a handful of Tom Clancy Jack Ryan books and damn, those books never end, lol.. Executive Order, I swear took me half a year to read and I usually read 2-3 books a month.

I'm reading the Game of Throne novels or whatever the name of the series is(I'm on book 3 right now). I like them more than the show, so I think I'll read them all first, then get caught up later on the show. Also reading some Halo books sprinkled in between.

I'm on the fourth book of the Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child Agent Pendergast book series. I had read Relic years ago, but never realized it had a sequel book, Reliquary that was fantastic. I sped through Cabinet of Curiosities and am now on The Still Life of Crows.

Wrapped up Glenn Beck's Control a while back, now I'm pretty far into Rand Paul's book.

The Red Army

A very old book on the Soviet Army. Lots of essays from experts of the day. Published in 1955, so it should be nice to use "player knowledge" while reading through it.

Since the sequel to Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children is finally due next week I'm thinking I should read it again. Then again, I've got And Now My Soul is Hardened to crack, as well.

Read The One Minute Cure...hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) therapy...you drink 9 drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide a day...the extra oxygen molecule gets released into your body...since most diseases, viruses and bacteria thrive in an oxygen poor environment, the added oxygen helps keep you super healthy...

Interesting..

I started to read "Seal Team 666" since it's going to be a movie.. and god-damn if the free first couple chapters were not just terrible. TERRIBLE.

Just finished Hollow City. I know it's technically a young adult book, but I kind of like what Ransom Riggs is doing. This one kind of felt like the walking sections of The Lord of The Rings, but not so tedious. I reckon it's difficult building a story around unrelated vernacular photos, but he's doing alright. The side of me that likes continuity wishes he'd find a single source of photos when it came to established characters, but I recognize the difficulty in pulling that off.

Anyway, I liked it, and wish I hadn't burned through it in 2 days. I sure as hell hope it's not another 30+/- months before a new one. J.K Rowling was writing a fricking epic with Harry Potter and was dropping them once a year for half the series. I'm not a fan of waiting.

Haven't really read anything recently.. plowed through the latest Halo book a while back, not bad, but not great. Sometimes I hate how fast I read and wish I could slow it down.

A couple of weeks back I picked up a couple of cheap books from a couple of places. Six Suspects by the fella that did Slumdog Millionaire and Dracula: Un-Dead, by Bram's great-grandnephew and some dude named Ian Holt.

Suspects was pretty good, all around. The format was fairly unique, and aside from the cartoonish depiction of the American character and the occasional difficulty keeping certain characters straight in my head it kept my interest.

D:U-D had me "what the fuck?"ing all over the place.

Guess I should tear the cellophane off of Habibi and start working through it.

That one's on my list, but I'm not starting it until the other books are published.

Not really "reading material" per se, but I found this coffee table book the other day for $20.
It's a photo book of British soldiers in A'Stan.
