Thought the NBC would be nice to have (bought one for starters), but after opening...

If anyone wants a loose one, lmk. I did remove 2 pouches from backpack though.

Yep, picked up 3 of the USAF Helicopter pilot dudes for the aviator helmets and bodies.

It's always great to get 1:18 pilot ANYTHING given how rare they always are.

I ever get another set of Renegades Duke I'm gonna mate a them and a Joe lower up with the Bbi torso. Might slap some Joe arms on there, too.

Would you mind sharing your way of mating a BBI torso with a Joe lower?

Combining 25th GI Joe and Indiana Jones Figures

Essentially that ^^^^
My limited testing shows that ME Joe arms *should* just pop right in. With all things ME Joe, assume that this will not be universal. I suppose I should say any Joe arm using the same diameter shoulder peg as PoC Jungle Duke should fit.

One of my Targets fully stocked. Bought the 5 pack and a single. Shitty paint apps but that's fine with me because they're never finished or detailed all the way and that lets me have some fun finishing them off.

I bought one of the M113s tonight. I want to convert it to the mortar carrier variant. Does anyone make an M30 mortar to toss in the back of this thing?
Also considering an ambulance variant and or one with a ram for my SWAT team.

The figures are starting to show up in my area now. I went back to the same Target the day after I got the Hind and looked down the next isle over. Got the 5 pack and about 6 of the individual figures.

Saw all of them tonight. Only one LT which I need about 4 to have a proper liquidator crew.

Why not use the mortar from the ARAH Forward Observer Unit?

Because I hadn't thought of that. Great suggestion.

Got ''Chaos'' and ''Corba'' last night. The 5-packs were all gone though.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned earlier but there's a ''stealth copter'' set I've not seen anybody discussing. I'm not too surprised, as it looks very ARAH in its design, which is fine if you like ARAH-era vehicles (some of which I do) but it's not a very good ARAH-style design and looks almost half-finished.

Some comparisons between the M113 and the 25th Armadillo. I also thought about having it pull a Mountain Howitzer but couldn't find one of mine to take pics.

Is that what it's supposed to be? Unless I'm mistaken (I have to admit I just glanced over the vehicles) it's lacking any kind of cockpit canopy, right? With that it *might* look a little better but it looked like a bad Fang knock-off to me.

Open-topped, yeah. Yup, that's based on the Comanche. I like the IFOR markings on the 113. Bbi always had interesting schemes. Too bad it's not to proper scale.

the local Target around here finally stocked yesterday. When my boys saw the A-10 Thunderbolt and Hind they went straight into the cart. I picked up singles. They were up until midnight last night playing. Ok so was I (update: they were back up at 7am playing. now my 5 year old daughter is flying the A-10 around!!!)

Saw all these in Target today. Just couldn't bring myself to buying them though. I just... don't... get why these are desireable. They look like Dollar General G.I.Joe knockoffs.

Can't beat the price though...

Probably because of price, realism and the lack of running around in a red jersey with a RPG that has been outdated since Hitler fell? Just my guess.

I grabbed LT (the NBC guy) but put back the 5-figure pack. Basically my wife and daughter were clothes shopping and I was left for 30+ minutes in the Target toy aisle, which gave me a lot of time to study the figures within and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. They're mostly repaints of the single figures but I couldn't find a single pack with a decent paint app. One figure has flesh/pink pegs sticking out at the knee joints and another had a flesh elbow peg. It was the same with them all. I also picked up another single whose paint app was equally terrible and so I wound up with the NBC guy.

The thing that strikes me about these figures is that if you get a good app, they're really impressive (especially at the price) but on the flip side, having bought 3 of them I feel I've pretty much seen all the line has to offer and my toy buying desire has been satiated. I'll probably pick up a few more as my ''there's nothing else to buy'' line but it's more about being a completist than anything else now.
