Heheh, funny little foreign ambulances.

I saw an armored van at K-Mart yesterday that looked "right" for 1:18.

It would require a metric fuckload of work, though.

Not the same, but you can get small farm tractors that will work.

A lawn mower would be pretty cool, though. Custom George Jones, bitch!

I noticed the Michonne figure from TWD comes with a 1:18ish claw hammer.

What do they mean by Friction? Is that the term for the cars that you pull back and let go for motion.

John Deer *had* a 1:18th lawn mower, I don't know if they still make it. Our oldest son got one when he was two or three, it has nice detail and came with a tiller that attached to the back.

Oh, and that camper set in the above link might work for a Walking Dead set-up. It's probably not accurate because of the country of origin, but the roof detaches which is a plus.

Deutschland, I believe. Kind of a contemporary to Bruder.

Besides the 1/18 camper van, I have their VW Kombi surfer van which, while cool, is about 1/16 and therefore too big. I also found their 1/18 Volvo SUV/caravan trailer combo, but I didn't have the cash at the time. When I went back it was gone.

It's a conglomerate of toy companies/brands. I guess it is better to join together than go it by yourself.
Of course everything is made in China.

PICS! :D

Some years ago I bought the holiday trailer with passenger car and the holiday camper on a travel in germany. They were of very good quality, that means in particular rigid plastic, rubber tires and a good detailing. And they were rather cheap. However, if you buy online check whether the scale of the respective vehicle is really 1:18. If that scale is not mentioned, very often the scale is 1:24.

I clicked on this thread half-expecting it to be by Eddie, and something completely different.

Check your local Kohl's this time of year, or other places that sell yearly exclusive Christmas ornaments... They often have quirky stuff that would fit in the 1:18 scale. They had a badass grill a few years ago that I passed up on but wish I'd gotten.

They also had this ornament:

Or something similar, but I can't recall if it was exactly 1:18 or smaller.

Some of us don't center our toys in that visually boring sandbox setting. :D

That thing is righteous. Amazon UK has it listed as 1:14, though. A VW Type 2 should be ~9" in 1:18.

Roomy enough in the back for Fred and Daphne.

Or Velma and Scooby if that's your bag.

That thing, is pretty cool. Is it larger than 1:18th??

1:16 is Dickie's usual large scale of choice, but it looks like it's in the sweet spot for modern 4" figures.

Looking around on eBay Vaterland, a red/white rescue one went for a fucking Euro back in July.

It's a righteous vehicle. Lights, sound, and a button-actuated hoist.

You would know I'd have Kohl's locally, but that dump wouldn't actually have something cool in-store.
