I hate that their wheeled vehicles have to be so big, especially since they’ve gotten their tracked vehicles to scale with the figures. That WWII Jeep from last year is as big as the Sherman.

I’ve been looking all morning and those CNET pics you posted is all I can find. I want to see the Germans!

Kinda looks like a mixture of an Eurocopter Dauphin and a Westland Lynx.

I'd get excited, but I still haven't seen wave 2 of the mixed line, damn it.

Thank goodness they are going to release a T-800, I was getting close to ordering one of those Terminator Genysis sets ($18+) that came with five of them just to get one. And only ONE new Aliens?? And it's pretty much a re-release of their first one with added "battle damage", but we get THREE new MoTU??

And when do we get a dam Predator??

They should also throw in a T2 future war John Connor...with all the COD parts they have, they should be able to cobble one together at minimal cost.

Jesus, they're doing all of the themes LEGO did before they went to licenseshit hell.

Well, Evil-Lyn and Faker were almost mortal locks since they're basically straight-up repaints (minus Lyn's head piece), but the addition of Man-at-Arms is a nice surprise, as I figured he'd be put off to a later wave. We just need a Mer-Man, Stratos, & Zodac to complete the 1982 line.

I'm a little surprised that this hasn't expended into a small line of vehicles by now. Outside of the alien, I think the MOTU guys have been the hit of the single-packs thusfar. And I think it would have more legs/longevity than some of the other licenses they're single-packing.

What kills me is these probuilder sets... I don't really care for the sets, but the figures are incredible. So many new fodder parts that I'm not going to buy a $50-$80 just to acquire.

I hate HeMan, but seeing the the miniature figures makes me realize what a smashing success it would be. Dial up Netflix to get a new toon and spit out a castle Greyskull. Boom.

They did do a classic Star Trek line, did they not? I seem to recall only seeing those sets in discount stores...which is really surprising. If they did badly, I'm surprised they would venture into that license again in any form.

While being extremely impressed with your builds, I have to ask if you have the LCAC set built? I just can't compute wanting (a really fucking cool) Whale unless I already had the LCAC to load all of my vehicles on.

Nah, it's still in the box, mostly b/c I don't know where I'll put it when it's built. I have no doubt the MB craft is super-cool. But in my head, they really serve different purposes. The WHALE doesn't pretend to be a tank transport or anything so massive. It's more for small team insertion/exfil and faster, more nimble support functions. Hell, the comics even had it running around in the swamps. I can't see that massive beast doing anything of the sort.

So on top of the nostalgia factor, I see it having a completely different role, which is why I could justify the effort to build one even though the Mega craft is obviously in a class all by itself.

Ha! That would be funny. Don't think I could fit two in there, but maybe a whale and something smaller like the VAMP or something.

Note: There will not be a second WHALE under any circumstances :). That thing was a bitch to build. From the custom base, to the millions of sloped pieces... I robbed the goodies out of hundreds of dollars worth of Halo sets just to get what I needed. There are no "Bricks n Pieces" or Bricklink equivalents for Mega parts (I wish!), so accumulating the right pieces, in the right colors, in the right quantities... is a major chore.

Nacho - I love your ARAH inspired Mega Bloks. Wish I had time and skills to do the same. They are amazing.

I have noted previously I am going to sell off all my COD bricks ... I am too deep into 1:18 with MTF stuff....I just dread the prep work and the eBay part...
