SDCC 09 – G.I. Joe Booth Diorama

So when I got to the SDCC today, I of course went immediatly to buy some con-exclusives from the Hasbro toy booth.. but they stopped taking new people in line. Boo.

So then I went to check out the G.I. Joe section of the Hasbro booth and I was WOWED by the Diorama they had set up in the middle of the area. It showcased all of the currently released and coming soon figures. They had a bunch of different setups, and they were all really well done.

I think my favorite is the Cobra base section, but they are all nicely done. I wish I had some of these in my house!

Kamakura, who looks pretty cool I guess. I’m not into Ninjas.

Cobra “Dog Handler”, who is african-american apparently, and has a name but I can’t remember it.

A bunch of other figures… it’s a really nice display!

Some other news… there is going to be a “White Coat Doctor” variant released, so keep your eyes out. There is also going to be a variant of the “Arctic Storm Shadow” but I couldn’t get the details about what is different about the figure.
