Tieka “OurWar” – Squad Leader Review

Compatibility:  When compared to other 1:18 scale figures the Tieka OURWAR line is on the smaller side but not so extreme as to dissuade acquisition.

Among its peers it could be seen as within the variance of human anatomical proportions. When placed on base it fits in well.

General impression and observations: This is a nice figure and the others in the line look good as well.

While the head sculpt with its affixed glasses is a minus as is the inability to easily head swap, the pluses of the figure outweigh those negative features.

Those interested in building a platoon of these figures will find them a nice unit to collect. They fit in perfectly together and can expand as needed.

With a price point in the 8 or 9 dollar range in the US market many may opt to pick up the squad and add if price points come down during sales, which will hopefully happen before too long!

I plan to pick up another 3 squads worth to create a platoon.  I know this has been far from an exhaustive review and every permutation has not been covered.  I hope it has given the reader some sense of the figure and overall I would rate the figure at a strong 8 out of 10.

  1. Thanks for the review! I like that the camelbak comes off and the articulation seems pretty good so far. Although they are a little smaller than the other lines they should still fit in pretty good for a “green shirt”. Judging by the pictures I would have to agree with the rating so far, especially with the removable parts. Can’t wait for the others to get a review. This line looks promising.
