Overall I can’t say enough good tings about WFC. The game features a 12-15 hour thrilling campaign mode, a fantastic Co Op mode, a very rewarding and addicting multiplayer mode and a great representation of the brand. This isn’t just a great Transformers game, it’s a great game period.
I do have a few issues with WFC that can’t be ignored. I feel that the graphics could use some slight improvements. I would have liked to have had more online players per map and the servers really struggled to support the game in the first few months of the release. Connection errors and extreme lag was common and became almost comical with the regular players.
I reviewed this game exclusively for the PS3. The game is also available for Xbox360 and PC, however the DLC isn’t available on PC. I give Transformers: War for Cybertron a 9 out of 10. WFC is currently available at a discounted price for under $30 at most retailers and the sequel Fall of Cybertron will be available this August.
