Medal of Honor: Frontline Review

I hadn’t played a WW2 game in a long time and honestly it was because I was sick of them.  It only took an hour into Frontline and I was already hooked again. Using the classic weapons like the MP-40,  M1 and Walther p38 felt great.  Even after all these years,  it’s still fun to shoot Nazis.

Frontline is a single player only game,  however they do have some extra content that you can attempt to unlock. Each mission is replayable so you can attempt to earn Medals like the Legion of Merit,  Silver Star and Distinguished Service Cross.  You have 9 Medals that you can unlock and after each one you will get a extra video reel of war footage and a making of the level video along with trophies.

I had a difficult time scoring Frontline as it’s such an old game.  I believe if I was playing and rating it during 2002 it would receive a much higher score.  I found the game to be very fun even though it had some obvious flaws that could have easily been addressed during the remake.  It also gave me the “WW2 Bug” again which I never thought I would get.  I’m giving Medal of Honor: Frontline HD a rating of 6.5 out of 10.  This game is only available on PS3 and can be downloaded from the PSN or played off of the 2010 version of Medal of Honor.
