Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Review

New to the series is the ability to create your own Transformer.  This option isn’t as great as it was hyped up to be however it’s still a cool feature that I assume will have more options added in future games.  You can choose individual parts for your character including legs,  arms,  armor,  heads and color schemes.

Escalation mode returns in FoC and it’s just as fun as before.  If you aren’t familiar with Escalation,  think Call of Duty’s zombie mode.  You and up to 4 players online get thrown into a map and must survive 15 waves of enemies.

Each wave presents it’s own challenges with the opportunity to spend coin on power ups,  opening new portions of the map,  weapons and ammo.  You get a short amount of time between each wave to prepare and game plan.

I found that the escalation mode in FoC was less challenging than in WFC as I was able to obtain wave 15 in all 4 maps in one sitting which was about 4 hours of game play.  I really enjoyed the maps as they are very interactive and huge.  I’m expecting more maps through Down Loadable Content.
