SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs Review

Most of Forty-Five’s missions are stealth solo missions much like a Metal Gear game.  These are fun as you sneak around compounds throwing ammo shells distracting guards and sneaking up to other guards applying stealth kills.

The rest of the missions require you to command your squad as they are broken up into teams.  The Gold team is the Korean Ops and the Blue team is Navy SEALs.  You give commands using the directional pad. You can order the team to flank your opponents,  fall back,  take cover,  march forward and select individual targets.

Your teams AI is extremely good and makes the game almost too easy.  It’s very possible for you to just stay back in cover and order your team members to victory without even firing a shot in most missions.  The hardest part of the game for me was trying to remember the complex controls.
