Medal of Honor: Warfighter Review

As I’ve already mentioned, one of the highlights of the game is the graphics and amazing cut scenes.  Electronic Arts takes full advantage of the Frostbite 2 engine that of course is famous for the Battlefield franchise to make the game look nice and pretty.  The sound quality is up to par that is highlighted by very solid voice acting.

Now on to the Multiplayer modes which is the primary focus for most gamers today.  Just like the campaign mode,  the multiplayer has more misses then hits. You have all the usual game modes available to you however two things will really stand out.  The first being the 2 man fire teams that is a welcome change to the game play. At the start of the map you get paired with another player and you team up using advantages like spawning at their location, healing and re-supplying them.  The winning team gets highlighted at the end of the game.

The next thing that you will notice right away is the customizing options.  You actually have too many customizing options and it gets confusing.  You can customize muzzles, weapons, characters, optics, magazines and just about anything else you can think of.  You have 12 different Tier 1 units that you can unlock and use from 10 different nations.  Each unit specializes in different categories.  I usually stuck with Americans because that’s how I roll.

The classes that you can choose are Sniper, Demolitions, Assault, Point Man, Heavy Gunner and Spec Ops.  I for the most part stuck with Assault as I was most comfortable with that set up.  Like I mentioned earlier,  all the usual game modes are available to you as I mainly played Team Deathmatch as that’s the best way to judge a multiplayer game in my opinion.  Overall the online experience is very flashy with a huge customizing arsenal, decent maps, several game modes,  the nation tracking and confusing menus.  However they fail at the most important part, the game play.
