Like a lot of new figures lately, this shares the Snake Eyes/Life Line legs and Shock Trooper arms, but boasts a new torso. I do believe the head is new, as well. New to this line(Retaliation) at least, if not specific to this figure.

As the legs are primarily Life Line’s, there’s a bit of medical equipment on the right thigh behind the pouch. I’m not sure what it is, or how a saboteur would find it useful, but there it is, all the same. The knife sheath is where it should be, and the holster’s on the left. They filled in the kneepad holes on the knees, which makes it look just that much better.

(By the time you read this, I’ll have replaced the pouch and holster with the mag pouch and holster from 3-pack Beachhead. It might be a darker gray-green but it more closely matches Firefly’s color palette than those from POC SE or the like, and works better than the bits from Life Line.)

At the neck and vanishing beneath the open collar is a great ribbed sweater that adds tremendously to the sculpt, and gives it much more dimension. The sculpt of the head is the usual balaclava sort, but the expression on Firefly’s face is great, so long as you find one with good paint apps, that is.

I will add that plastic quality is different. Not terrible, but it’s certainly softer plastic, more like what’s being used on the Dollar General figures, rather than the wave 1 Retaliation figures.
