X Review: “Dark Ninja”

We’re all pretty familiar with the sculpt by now, considering how many different ninjas now use it. And while it’s seen many uses, this might very well be the best of them. Don’t get me wrong, it looked spectacular in white for Storm Shadow, but this deep, charcoal grey looks far more appealing. It makes it darker, more sinister, more befitting the martial art they’ve trained their whole lives to be masters of.

It’s got all the molded in creases and folds, which helps give it the appearance of fabric. It’s got all the articulation found in Renegades Storm Shadow and the red ninjas in the Retaliation line, but lacks the rocker ankles, going back to the regular ‘Joe articulation for the ankles and feet.
