Like I said, this is a pretty good representation of the on-screen character. There’s all sorts of armor plates and straps and buckles, which somehow manages to give him a sleek and stealthy look but giving him the appearance of some bulk and power behind it all. His legs have been given the look of fabric with all the creases and folds that would come with them.
He is, however, a tad short, compared to the POC Wave 3 version(and Retaliation Wave 2 3-pack version.) But considering how short he should be standing next to The Rock, er, Roadblock, it’s another good job at giving some accuracy to the on-screen version.
The articulation is pretty much what you’d come to expect for our favorite ninja commando. He can bend and split and super-sentai judo-kick with the best of them! Head, shoulders, elbows, jointed wrists, torso, hips, double-knees, and the new rocker ankles.
After seeing so many figures with the rocker ankles, I can safely say that while I do like them, I wish they’d gone a step further and allowed rotation high in the ankle as well as the rocker motion. While the rocker ankles allow more freedom of movement and more fluid poses, they also limit some other poses, as well as making it difficult to stay firmly on a stand.
