Coming off a busy weekend I had to recharge the batteries. The Walking Dead was a prominent theme to this Con as many people dressed up as the characters from the hit show on AMC. I feel like I was walking dead as there was so much to see, you had to make several trips around the place just to see everything. Celebrities were abound signing autographs and getting their pictures taken. Many notable stars showed up including St. Louis’ own, Randy Orton a WWE Superstar. Stan Lee made his presence known judging from the lines that wrapped around quite a bit. Laurie Holden from Walking Dead was there and commanded a great crowd.
One star who stood out to me was Henry Winkler A.K.A The Fonz, this man stood out for his sheer generosity among the crowd. Many of the celebrities would sit behind their table and sign, snap a pic and move onto the next, not Mr. Winkler. He would stand IN the line with people, shake hands, talk and just be an all around good guy. I witnessed him standing by his table talking to someone, see a person on the other side of the line, would go out of his way to approach them and talk to them. Extremely Humble.
