Interior

Inside, detailing is a bit sparse. You have some details for the dashboard, you’ve got a gear-shift in the center console, a steering column, minor detail on the seats, and a diamond-plating pattern on the floorboard, but the details themselves are more or less just outlines of what it should be. Likely, indicators of the placement of stickers.

Exterior

Much the same as the interior, it’s fairly sparse if you consider the details that true 1:18 scale vehicles are packing. You have a bit more definition to the details that it does have, though. The push bar at the front has some nicely detailed lights, non-working winch(they removed that from the Vamp,) and mirrors. There’s rear lights, windows, a ladder. Overall, there’s enough, but none of it is realistic looking. In fact, the most detailed piece, the missile launcher, is the most unrealistic part of the whole vehicle!

That said, I like the addition of the doors, the handles for troops to hang on the outside of the vehicle. You have some rivets that add to the aesthetic, and I appreciate the fact that they removed the unsightly wheel in the middle of the hood, even if it meant they had to remove the functional winch. In addition, there’s no spare tire, even though there’s a spot for one, which looks a little silly.

Construction

The construction is a little flimsy. The plastic is a bit brittle, and it has some stress marks and fractures in the front where the roll cage plugs in, because it’s not quite right. Retroactively designing a new rollcage is fine, but not if it doesn’t fit right. The result is a fairly unsightly gap between the rollcage and the dashboard, and it affects the placement of the rest of the rollcage.
