X Review: GoW Series 1

The paint job is not bad. The armor and the finer details are emphasized by some good dry-brushing work, as well as the result of steady hands(or a steady machine). Base color is black in the plastic, with applications of some blue, flesh, and silver accents. This is standard across the three figures. The downfall is that the flesh color on the neck looks a little thick, and seems like it might flake off at any time.

The best detail work on these figures has to be the tattoos on Marcus and Clayton. I had hoped to really capture the detail in them, but the camera will only do so much on such a small scale.

Each figure comes with a gun. That’s it? Seriously? Just a gun?

Yep. Just a gun. Get over it. I’d fly into a rage, but I’m already tired of talking about it.
