X Review: “Ultimate” Storm Shadow

The paint is nice and subtle. Storm Shadow is molded in white with flesh on the bare arms. This gives a good blank canvas to work with, but they painted him quite sparingly. Apps for the face, the red cobra sigil, and maybe a dusting of drybrushing on the forearms and shins for effect. And, it works. It works very well, I think.

Ho-lee hell. If you were looking for accessories, this is the guy. He comes with everything Renegades Storm Shadow did, minus the red sash and the emo-head. They changed those out for a C.L.A.W. jetpack and a Byung Hun Lee head. The jetpack has an appropriately Cobra oversized engine, but when you attach a figure, they just spin around ineffectively. What’s the point? The head is a good representation of the actor, though the paint job is not as good as it should be. That’s the polite way for me to say they gave him ridiculous derp-eyes.

Besides those, there’s the backpack, bow, arrow, two swords, two sai, two kunai, two hand claws, two throwing stars, dart pouch and dart, nunchucks, war fan, sash, and belt. Oh, right, and the stand. A stand!
