X Review: Battle Hammer Thor

review-sculpt01

The sculpt, head aside, is the same as the prior Thor from this line. There are some color changes, but it’s not enough to really make this a different figure. Nor do I think this was necessary to do. They could have included the cape, hammer, and extra head in the prior version’s packaging, and killed two birds with one stone.

The head, again, is only vaguely Chris Hemsworth. But without a helmet. Oh, and this one has a ponytail. Woo.

review-articulation01

Articulation is the same as the previous figure. Head, shoulders, elbows, good ball hips, thigh swivel, double knees, and rocker ankles. It’s a shame that they didn’t add the wrists and torso articulation in there, because like I said before, the rest of the articulation is completely wasted on this figure.
