It’s an okay sculpt. Pretty reminiscent of every other Thor that has been created by Hasbro in the last 4-5 years. Even the Movie line Thors all seem to have some similarities. So what we get with this one isn’t a huge surprise. He looks like Thor. He’s suitably large and muscled, the arms have that scale-mail appearance, he even has a helmet for his cartoony head. Just for certain people who like to complain about the lack of helmet and all. The legs are a bit bland compared to his upper body, but the boots are quite nice, and have an interesting look to them.
I was worried that his articulation would suck. Considering everything so far, I had a good right to be worried that this would be another near-brick. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he moved quite well. Not that he doesn’t have some limitations. Large arms usually result in diminished posing ability, and of course the cape prevents many low poses. But he moved freely, stayed where I put him, and has an amazing amount of movement.
He’s got articulation in his head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, torso, the good ball-hips, thigh swivel, ball knees, and ankles. Despite the use of the ball knees, this all offers great poseability.
