Overview

Zombies!

No really. It’s a pretty straightforward take on the zombie apocalypse, most notable for being able to explore in a long-form way themes and ideas that wouldn’t be able to be fleshed out (heh) in a zombie movie.

Art

Tony Moore’s art works really well for the series, but don’t get used to it – he’s replaced after this on the interiors by Charlie Adlard, although Moore continued on the covers for a while.

The black & white nature of the art may take some adjusting to, as most comics are done in color, but it works really well for the series.
