Ages 25 and Up Rewind #5

First up is File #59 “A Real American Teamup Part 1” and it’s pretty basic for the start of the story. Classic characters, lots of dialogue and a crossover which is something that Numbers pulls off very well.

#60 set the tone for the entire story arc and I have to say, it was amazing! This one strip took Captain America and propelled him into the #1 character in this universe. Clutch has clearly been the main star since it’s inception and Cap was ready to give him a run for his money. Check out ARAT Part 2 below:

Lets get some thoughts from Numbers:

“#59 and #60 just set up the story and introduced the characters. In a matter of panels, Captain America is racist, sexist, and waves his political dick around in everyone’s face. I made Beachhead and Dusty good friends in A25U, but I’m not sure where that Cherry Coke gag came from. They survived the Black Ops story and as far as I know, Dusty still owes Beachhead a beer.”
