    Aussie ASLAV conversion

Thanks mate, the parts are from Marauder. They do 1/18 weapons and bits. If I can ever find another LAV at a reasonable price (not the ebay scalper price) then I'd do the ASLAV Type 2. Cheers

She gets some colour. Still plenty to do, waiting for tools and MG's aswell as decals. I think the tyres worked well and still functional. CC welcome. Cheers

No, the hatch will remain as is. I will however cut and replace the expended link cover plate on the side of the turret

    Aussie ASLAV conversion

A little progress, things to do are the roof air filters, flex and coax MG'S, turret wire cutter, a little stowage and fit the wheels. Some turret angles were not friendly so this became an approximation rather than a detailed build .

I agree, took the better part of a day however I thought if I'm going to do it I may as well make it look as close as I can. Dremel made easy work of the cutting.

Bit more progress, lots of sanding.

Made a start on this guy. Removed most parts as required however the biggest thing was the relocation of the turret ring 10mm aft as it sits too far forward. Also removed the hull floor box and replaced with a new floor. Fat tires and other bits on the way.
