Well, though it's been basically phased out, you could use UCP (although I struggle with anything digital). DCU and ~M81 woodland are also easier but DCU is pretty much phased out as well and woodland mostly seems to be used by MARSOC nowadays.

Great work, love seeing other military customs! As for the Multicam, I mean it looks solid but you can always repaint if you find a better way of doing it, or if you want to use an easier camo pattern lol. Great build though.
This was heavily based on the SEALs from TU Bruiser in Ramadi. I found the site Black Ops Toys especially helpful in identifying gear and increasing accuracy. I may make more edits and add patches.
Thanks, yeah that's actually more what I meant. I'm not super adept at gun mods and I knew it would just be anachronistic to give him an M-4 with tactical rails and a non-iron-sights mounted ACOG. Classic movie though!
Made this a few months ago. Pretty basic Delta guy from Mogadishu in '93. I know the CAR-15 should have some optics/attachments etc. but that has never been a point of strength for me (and neither has gear).

I based this somewhat off of the 12" Easy and Simple figures. I plan to possibly add some patches and I may end up redoing the plate carrier and pouches (that stuff isn't exactly my strong suit) but I was pretty happy with how the Multicam turned out.
Multicam is tough. I'd recommend literally looking up "how to paint Multicam" online. On google images there are various tutorials but I've found that the best option is actually just a method for painting Multicam onto a rifle.
