I'd use the 21st Century M2 or the Unimax M3 for the running gear and treads. One of those has to be close to scale and they both have the correct number of wheels/sprockets. The 21st M113 is short one wheel.

I'd say it's closer to an M2/M3 Bradley. Bigger than the M113 but smaller than the M1A1.

Google "1:18 Diecast Isuzu Dmax pick up" and you'll get a lot of auctions. I haven't seen any of them listing who makes it. Being diecast, it is pricey.

I haven't had that problem with the plastalina. It softens up as you work with it for me. You have to expect 3d printed parts (and often custom made pieces) will be damaged or destroyed when you remove them from molds. I've even seen it mentioned on some 3d printing sites. As long as you can...

Try plastalina modeling clay. It's $3 at michaels, never hardens. I use it for making my molds. Why aren't you just gluing the parts to toothpicks? Look at Starwarsgeeks vids in the tutorials section on how to do it.

Are you using a pressure pot? I found that no matter what I tried, bubbles forming in the casts were inevitable without a pressure pot. It sometimes helps if you "massage" the molds and open the mold to let the resin in and the air out. I do that before placing the molds in the pressure pot. If...
