We have the option for fiber here, or coax/fiber. We've switched back and forth, but we're always over 100M.

Podunk, Ohio might be screwed though, so I don't think physical media will completely go away for a while.

pcsguy88 and his 5G nonsense will help mitigate some of that.
Yeah, fiber has come a long way here in FL. We were the test subjects for it when it came out. However, now that Verizon isn't in charge, quality has dropped a bit.

Again, why is this guy employed at Lucasfilm?

He's one of many. They are teeming with people like this.

I can find you dozens of examples of people who write the official books, Lucasfilm employees, and contracted writers on their website who do this crap.

What they say and what they do are very different things. Clearly people are spending money on that nonsense. Though when you look at how poorly SOLO did, the "progressive" push is hurting their bottom line. But I don't think the left cares as much about money at this point as they do about pushing agendas. They are very comfortable spending (and losing) money to advance their cause(s).

I hope their unholy abomination trips and falls underneath the weight of it's own failings.

I hope so too, but it won't. New progressive fans will eat it up and enough of the old OT fans will adapt. The ones that don't, well, they hate them anyway and don't want their dirty "nazi" monies.

They don't buy things! Capitalism! The only ones that do are "professional" reviewers. Funny how every single Disney movie gets 5 out of 5 stars...isn't it? Never a low score. I've struggled to find one.

They buy things. They tell us all about how evil capitalism is on capitalist social media with their capitalist cell phone in one hand and capitalist coffee in the other. Their actions speak louder than their words.
I can't remember if it's the Emperor movie or The Last Samurai, but I am very much reminded about the quote about Japan and how there is what is said and what is done. Granted SJW'S aren't cultured nor have they traveled anywhere in the world (I've got them there) and I'm multicultural (but appear white! Yay genetics). So naturally they make accusations, then I smash them with their own logic. Then they play the mental gymnastics card... 😂

I don't tell anyone about my real life & very little about my past life, makes real life easier that way.

I have no doubt Disney will make it seem like a bonus for subscribing then turn around & make it a need to subscribe.

I also worked for URGE music (MTV) & found out rather quickly if you buy media online it will only last as long as the service since you don't actually own anything, you have a licence to stream similar to computer software. Same applies to cable, Apple & other online sources. In short just because you buy a movie on Amazon does not mean that you will be able to keep it for 20-25 years. You or spouse change accounts due to computer hack, death or said service changes it services in the future, then you could lose everything "purchased"
And people wonder why I buy physical media.

I have gotten to the point now where I am only interested in Original Trilogy Star Wars, vinyl records from the 70s-80s, G1 themed Transformers, old school GI Joe, die-cast cars (that are made of actual metal in most areas) and other hobbies that are free of the Socialist Justice Warrior dumpster fire.

These creeps are literally destroying everything we know and love, so it's difficult (but feasible) to find things that are both interesting and fun to be a part of.

Really hoping we don't end up like Sweden. It's slowly getting there though...

That is what happens when you have a state-run PC culture. This would be a modern Lucasfilm's wet dream. It started with comics. Then board games/table top games. Then videogames. Then Ghostbusters. Then Star Trek. Then Star Wars. Now they are coming after anime (crunchyroll diaster), Terminator, and most recently Captain Marvel's: "The Future is Female!"

The consequences are simple: get woke, go broke.

Most of those titles have done HORRIBLE at the box office as a result of SJW cancer. Why can't these purple haired third wave feminists go make their own terrible franchises and stop polluting ours?

*trying not to make a big deal about the wild bravestarr sighting*
Greetings, Eddie.

Yes, I have been very busy lately (like everyone else these days).

Just glad to be back in good company.

I could talk for days about how bad the Star Wars franchise has become, but that's for a later time.

Yauta, you are right about the SJW stuff ruining great franchises and even entire nations. I cannot wait to see the election results from Sweden.

In terms of SJWs in pop culture, the latest I read is that 007 is their next target.

I can only shudder to think what they will do to 007. If I had to guess: probably make he a she. Maybe a POC lesbian or trans if I had to guess? Those are both pretty trendy right now.

It is difficult. I find myself having a very hard time finding shows or movies to watch that haven't been infected with their garbage. I just watch less. I guess that's, good?

Sigh. They're raping life. Forcing themselves on everything, whether we like it or not. "We create everything. Don't like it? Well f%$& off, literally Hitler!"

I'll be honest... after TLJ, I kind of just... gave up completely on Star Wars. I haven't really watched anything related to it since that event. So now, I find myself world-building in my action figure comic, because it's my work and I enjoy what I do with it. It's my only source of entertainment.

Ugh, fucking Sweden. I don't know what the hell is going on in that country.

That third one should simply say "separating women from men as much as humanly possible". The more separated women are from men, the more likely they are to vote dem. The more separated women are from men, the less white babies there are and the less white people there are in the future to vote republican.

It's ALWAYS about the votes.

Yes, I recently got my hands on two box sets that I really am excited about.

1.) The original Untouchables series with Robert Stack, all seasons/episodes included.
2.) The original 1980s Hill Street Blues series, all seasons/episodes included.

I am to the point where it's pretty much a fine art in terms of what I collect. Vinyl records, G1 Transformers, die cast cars made out of real metal, OT Star Wars figures (as they slowly trickle out of Hasbro, etc...

Yea, in terms of movies and TV, I am going back in time. I do like quality documentaries, though. There are a few on Netflix, such as the one that mentioned how drinking fluoridated water is toxic.

There was a doc about that on Netflix?! I've watched a couple on YT. Unfortunately, unless you live near a fresh water spring, there's no way to avoid it. It's literally in everything that's made with water. It makes you wonder about "Make sure to drink your eight 8oz glasses of water a day!".

I drink a gallon a day. Mine is triple filtered though. So I'm okay.

I saw the documentary on Netflix about Fluoride, Bromide, Chlorine, and all the other nasty chemical shit that is in our drinking water and bottled water these days. I am a fan of San Pellegrino, Smart Water, and that new water at the store with the Swiss Army symbol on it. The Swiss Army water has a note on the side indicating that it's free of chlorine, BPA, and Fluoride.

The dentist in the Netflix documentary pointed out that fluoride may be safe to swish in your mouth while/after brushing, but that stuff does NOT belong in your digestive tract. For the government to tell us that it belongs in our drinking water is madness. It's a freaking chemical that should NOT be in your stomach due to its inherent toxic nature.
