Racists.

I have a feeling though, that, should western civilization survive long enough to wake up, after that will be ugly for those pushing the mass immigration narrative.

Can't wait to hear what Black Pigeon Speaks has to say on the topic. I still think the butchering of the best of two of Europe's generations have left them incapable of a comeback.

Which is the way "they" want it.

BOOM!

I also strongly suspect that "they" have been planning for and want a civil/race war to further decimate those generations and any future ones. This resistance to the invasion of Europe, this is EXACTLY why they want them gone. "You don't like our plan for you? Then we don't need you."

Here's the issue with that: Apparently there are more than one "build the wall" gofundme sites. Supposedly the actual National Sheriff's Assn page is sheriffswall.org . Nobody wants their money going to a fake site or worse, one that funnels funds to opposition efforts. I'd be happy to donate to a site explicitly endorsed by POTUS. Otherwise, probably not.

Well, that makes me feel a little better. I still want POTUS/DHS/ICE/USBP endorsement prior to sending any cash though. I want to know that money will be allocated for physical border security and nothing else.

The bullet we dodged by electing Trump was monstrous in so many ways. When D's say they want open borders, they mean it in the most monumental global way. They intend(ed) to flood every 1st country with third worlders so that they NEVER lose power again.

I hope the administration can work toward making allowances for skilled (can prove they have the means/assets to not rely on help from the government to survive) South Africans (generally farmers) who are being pushed out and skilled Europeans fleeing the immigrant invasion. Oh, and with extra merit benefit for already speaking English...

I agree that religion shouldn't be the driving factor, but even if you simply restricted based on skills and english proficiency, you'd weed out 99.9999999% of the muslim world. There is no reason to bias on religion when choosing based on more practical/pragmatic criteria is both fair and effective.

If you're from a shithole™, no soup for you.

I don’t care about feelings. I just want people of any religion and/or ethnicity that will make the USA a better place by their being here. That starts with having skills enough to support themselves and anyone who came with them. English is darn near a prerequisite for that. Indians are also often a good example of this. They don’t absolutely have to be millionaires, but they should never be net negative.

Sure there are lots of smart and/or hard-working immigrant types. I've met and worked with a lot of Indians that fit the mold. And when was the last time you saw a homeless asian person? And my wife comes from a hard working hispanic family. Immigrants add a lot. But that doesn't mean every immigrant is a great fit.

But I also don't see people from those home countries regularly chanting "death to america" and threatening to destroy the planet to in the name of "peace". I don't understand the left insisting that we operate completely counter to the idea of self-preservation of our society and values. It's not a race thing. It's far more fundamental that that.

It makes sense when you consider this graph:

They don't give a flying fudge what happens to the country or people so long as they are in power. Non-whites happily give them that power. Non-whites and dems want the same thing: the biggest government possible.

I understand why the power-hungry top-tier democrats want more government/power. What I don't get is why the rank-and-file democrat voters think all of this is a good idea. While there are plenty of stupid voters on all sides, the dems have plenty of college educated people too. Why are they unable to see the implications of their actions more than 18-months down the road?

Do they really think everything will be sunshine and rainbows when they have brown, lesbian, transgender females in power and a ton of new radical immigrants that want to throw them off a building, because Allah? When 80% of the country is on welfare because we literally have no border and half of central america shows up with their hands out, do they think the working 20% are going to play their game? When they kneecap the military, do they think good-vibes and hashtags are going to save them from the chinese or russians?

Every side has rich power-hungry, self-serving people. I just can't reconcile the endgame for "average" democrats.

...the dems have plenty of college indoctrinated people too.
FTFY and answered your question at the same time. Government schools promote government. Socialist professors promote socialism. SJWs promote the SJW narrative. I could continue but we all know it already. More school (not to be confused with practical training) leads to more indoctrination, absent a strong identity. And who has one of those these days?

They CAN'T be that stupid. I know my liberal arts peers in college were more lefty than those of us in technical majors, but I don't recall any circles where socialism was not a dirty word. Basic common sense and one look at Venezuela would give them a strong clue that it's a bad road to go down. I know, every socialist thinks that THEIR version of socialism is the one that's going to actually work. But the problem comes down to basic incentive.

If there is no carrot, the effort will be minimal at best. Is that a society they want, where a huge chunk of the population has a doctor's note from work because reasons, and the rest are doing the dead minimum? Socialism is the opposite of innovation. The only innovation in a socialistic society is attempts to game the system. Legal innovation doesn't happen because there is no incentive, no reward, just watching your hard work getting distributed to the masses. Ugh, makes me ill just thinking about it.

I'm sure indoctrination has gotten worse in the last 20 years, but millennials are not the policy-makers. The people making the rules are older than us. But that goes back to my original question, how do they envision the endgame? If it's really some socialist/SJW utopia, what does it look like, and how does it not collapse under it's own giveaways or eat it's own tail when each liberal faction turns on the one in charge?

Two things:

1. The people "in charge" on the left are the hippies of the 60's. They are (at least superficially) all about fairness and "everybody's the same, man" and helping the less fortunate, regardless if they deserve the helping hand or just want to live on the handout. This is what's being taught in the universities. No judgement. No having to work for what you want. You just deserve to have the good life, regardless of morality, work ethic and life choices. Everybody does. Who wouldn't love that? Especially if that doctrine buys you votes.

2. The people "in charge" on the left are just as susceptible to greed and power hunger as those "evil capitalists" on the right. Just look at the net worths of the left's leadership. It's okay for the common people to have just enough to get by, get intoxicated and anesthetized by TV and social media while the elites rake in the cash from special interest and insider knowledge. Plus, the hunger for power know no bounds. They'd rather have a crap system that they have control over than have a great system where they are as irrelevant as they should be. And, instability causes people to vote for more/larger gubment power and more control, not less, thereby ensuring their positions and bureaucratic welfare for life. So for them it's a win win.

I agree with all of that, but I'm talking about the end-game of the average democrat voter, the indoctrinated ones. I know exactly what the power-players are thinking, and I agree they don't care. And I understand the bottom-end voters on the gub'ment dole just want a bigger check. That's been abundantly clear for most of my lifetime.

But what are the college educated, working class democrats seeing that's attractive about all of this? How do they see society playing out when borders and military are a thing of the past, and everyone gets a handout? What series of events/policies makes them think this is a good idea that won't go sideways the minute workers are outnumbered by the takers?

Well, I'd say that there's the carrot and the stick for them.

The carrot is that they get that dopamine hit when they feel so virtuous posting to social media and getting likes for how they are supporting the poor, disadvantaged and disenfranchised. They are doing their part "for humanity and the environment." Sometimes it's monetary, mostly it's just "awareness" and being woke. This kind of virtue signalling covers a multitude of sins and temporarily pushes down the guilt for a multitude of questionable choices, and for generally just being white or some other inherent sin.

The stick is that anyone who departs from the flock or plantation, as it were, is shunned, ridiculed and/or threatened. They get unfriended and called all kinds of evil stuff. If they have skeletons, they'll most certainly be pulled from the closet and displayed for all to see. Reference Bill Cosby.

I agree that's their M.O., no doubt, but virtue-signaling can't be their endgame. Do they see a future where the poor have 51% and they're working themselves to death and having little to show for it... but they're happy because everyone's feelings are validated? That can't be it. What is their vision? How do they see it playing out long term?

I really don't think they are playing the long game at all. (Talking middle class here. The already wealthy only benefit from separating themselves from the commoners, and possibly make more by driving down wages). Look at consumer debt. Look at average retirement savings. They're not looking past the next dopamine hit, whether from a new toy, their (yay, sports!) team winning, the next virtue signal like or some other intoxicant. In their mind, if the right people are in charge, there'll always be Uncle Sugar there to bail them out if something goes wrong. I mean, look at what the "poor" on the welfare plantations in America have - big TVs, iPhones, nice cars, free food and housing. Sometimes it seems like we're the chumps for working hard and trying to make good choices to see to our own success.

That's a great question. The middle class left really have nothing to gain from the communist left. So you have to believe that they either haven't thought it through, or they have but think that socialism will work out this time. Anyone middle class on the left that knows their future is bleak and continue to vote D are retarded. Any of them that aren't retarded that realize the future of continuing to vote D probably turn into R voters. I mean, statistically, the older people get, the more likely they are to become conservative.

I do have to agree with Dan. Virtue signaling can be VERY powerful to them. I've read quite a few stories where some old bag donates her inheritance to the movement instead of her kids. It doesn't get more r selected than that.

We're never going to understand their mindset. We genuinely do have different ways of thinking. Different brain makeups. One is self preservation. The other is suicidal. Sane people just will never understand sacrificing themselves and their family/friends for literally strangers. That level of "compassion".. our genes just won't allow it.

I do think the average person who is left, or leans left, genuinely believes in the 'goodness' of people, who tend to agree with them, or perhaps they know nothing about (like random immigrants). This extends up to their leaders as well, that surely they're working with everyone's best interests at heart.

They look to the 'socialist democracies' in northern Europe for inspiration (when it suits them), and generally all have some sort of guilt complex for something.

Also, having the government or whoever take care of everything is extremely EASY, and we really are a lazy nation.

Media messaging is also important. If you're not really paying attention (or don't really care) the choice between "helping people" and "putting kids in cages" doesn't really seem like a hard one to make. Since the left positions almost always come out on the "giving/helping/nice" side of the spectrum, its easy to see it simply as they're the good side acting in peoples best interests. Appealing to peoples inner morality is a big winner most times, especially if it does not directly impact you.

Letting trans in the bathroom? I don't know any trans, doesn't impact me, everyone should be able to go to the bathroom!

Letting in illegal immigrants? It doesn't really impact my career or location or whatever.. and they're coming from horrible countries, we should let them in!

National defense? We spend too much on defense when there are no real enemies, and the only ones who are enemies are that way because we're so militaristic! If we stand down, surely everyone else will too.

Etc etc.

It's easy to get blinded with group think and media manipulation. This is true for the right as well. It ends with both sides looking more and more like their stereotypical portrayals, which just further pushes along the divide.

I think the difference between right and left is the right doesn't trust the government (or other cultures) and the left is blindly (manipulated) trusting. You'd think that a group that sees "the man" as the villain wouldn't be so trusting and wouldn't want said man ruling them completely. But somehow they are able to disconnect the businessman from the government man, when in reality they are intimately connected and/or one in the same. They hear the right words from the government and think "they're just like me!" Fools!
