I think the only usable EU stuff is maybe Thrawn because you could always play with the timeline. Everything else requires either younger Luke, Leia, and Han or story filler with them to show how we got to this point.

Unless they rewrite her as a Captain America/John Prophet/Sylvester Stallone cryo-freeze or as another clone that is a Emperor fail safe, in case the Empire is destroyed, I don't think her story is all that enticing.
The good news is she will be in the Rebels Cartoon, so we will get to see her bad guy side. But I don't expect to see her turn good until after the new movies are made. (Maybe in one of the Solo films.)
That's also a rumor, another one that I'll believe when we have official confirmation.

EU fans getting all pissy cause Disney is likely to wipe a lot out of a chance of ever getting any screen time is a joke.
I never heard of her until I played Star Wars Masters of Teras Kasi. Same with Jodo Kast.
I'm glad that a lot of post Return of the Jedi stuff is about to be de-canonized because honestly, it's mostly silly junk. Bobba Fett escapes the Sarlac pit on 2 or 3 different occasions. Now if we could just de-cannonize everything before episode 4.
