who was rumored to be making this plane/jet/rocket?

I know someone mentioned they wanted to make this. Is this still on the table or this another Fantasy Island project like the Mosquito, King Tiger and Thunderbolt II?

SkyWorks DID the Komet.

The Komet is it's practically best served in a ground-based dio. The problem is all of the required things to do it. At the very least it needs to come with a kettenkrad and tow carriage, but doesn't get good until you have a tankwagen with C-stoff (or T-stoff, NEVER BOTH TOGETHER! )) and fire crew hosing the thing down with water constantly.

So that's 3 vehicles at the least.
