Finally got this one done. What forearms and hands to use were holding me up and it just got back burnered. But looking at Popeye art, I knew they HAD to be quite large...I wasn't going for realism.

Anyway, take a peek. I'm quite happy with the end result.

Thanks guys!

The arms are MU Hercules cut down a hint and the gauntlets trimmed off. Then I worked in some musculature. The fists are off a 6" DCUC fig. Finally thinking outside of the 1:18th box to the 1:12th figure fists is really what got this project moving again.

Thanks again fellas.

Damn it I want a set of those pants.

Just two left shipwreck thighs. One spun backwards.

He needs a can of Spinach!

If the sculpt was designed with an open mouth, I would've emulated this art...spinache flying thru the air and all.

Looks great, When I heard about this I thought you'd use Hulk hands but you came up with something better.

Don't know if you remember, but Hulks hands and forearms were an early attempt. Just way too big. But that's when my brain was stuck on using only 1:18th parts.

I had to fill in a tiny space above the knee on the reversed leg with two ity bity pieces of styrene and blend them in, but otherwise, yeah, two lefties.
