Unfortunately they’ve covered all of my main toy lines. Would be nice if they did combo episodes to cover things like MASK, MUSCLES, Sectaurs, etc. Maybe even a full one on Nintendo since it was really just another toy when it was watches and handhelds plus all the accessories like the Powerglove and pistol.
Ultimately I did like him as Superman, he looked the most like Reeves, AND he got the Supes theme. Will be cool to see him revisit the character.. they better get the theme in.
Supposedly the Smallville people are also potentially making a cameo.. I liked that show.

It'd be cool to see Welling, but the only Superman suit he "wore" was Routh's. I guess they could keep him the Returns suit and put Routh in Reeve's suit...SHWING!
Watched the first ep of Stranger Things. Literally the opening is "Muh Russia!!" Wonder if there'll be some eeeeevil Trump like American character that defends/supports russia russia russia.
Yes, I get that muh russia fits in the 80's, but, c'mon.
That's next! My friend worked on that show doing the costumes and stuff, it was funny because she's hearing the show is good and she said its such a difference since normally all the shows she works on end up sucking lol.
So this weekend I FINALLY got around to watching season 2 of Cobra Kai on Youtube. My buddy (who is a HUGH Karate Kid fan) came over, and I had the 16 year old son stick around to watch it too. He hadn't seen season 1, but we gave him a quick primer and kinda expected him to sit and play his Nintendo DS the whole time.
Well DAMN that was a good season.. can't wait for season 3. MAN whoever is running this show has the perfect (and I mean perfect) knack for doing something new AND capturing/using the 80s assets and nostalgia. It's pretty amazing.. and the show itself is fun/good too on its own merits. The kid got into it too by the end, and is totally hyped for season 3 as well.
I'm almost done with Katie Sackhoff's Netflix series Another Life. I have no idea what to say about it since it seems to redeem itself every time it gets awful, but it relies heavily on Starbuck being back on a spaceship.
We used to watch AHS religiously. They used the same actors/actresses season after season, but they played new characters. The first couple of seasons were really good. Then it started getting super weird then it started getting political. So we've missed a few seasons. This newest season looks like it might be a return to form.
Designated Survivor apparently got a 3rd season on Netflix.. and then was canceled again.
I really liked Season 1, Season 2 was kind of so-so, but ended decently.
Season 3.. whew. I'll start by saying I enjoyed it for what it is. You won't.
We have:
Graphic black on black male gay sex (w/ HIV!)
A prominent transgender plot thread
A hispanic VP running mate
An episode devoted to taking care of illegals who came over the border and need medical treatment
WHITE NATIONALISTS PLOTTING TO STERILIZE COLORED FOLK
Republicans generally being evil or at best, helping evil
MUH RUSSIA makes a tiny appearance but not very important
There's an episode chastising Arabs for Child Brides.. but the episode focuses instead of child brides in the US
and probably more that I don't remember
Now.. does that sound like a show for The Fighting 1:18th? No, probably not. But I'm a CA Liberal Fagboy, so I still enjoyed it for what it was. I did notice all those things and chuckled when they constantly went out of their way to paint the administration as "centrist". They did a better job the first couple of seasons of making him an independant centrist.. here.. they give some lip service to "both sides" but every single time they go with the far left position/thinking. There is technically a Democrat they're against this season, but I don't even remember who it is, because the Republican takes all the screen time being evil (or at the very least evil adjacent).
So.. yes.. I enjoyed it, good production values, it actually feels like Washington, but 118th beware your sensibilities! To be fair, I'll watch anything with Kiefer in it though.
1st season was really good, but the premise is hard to hold onto even for season 2.. I felt like the shorter Season 3 was better, but still not as good as season 1 with the cool premise. Also, by season 2.. it feels like everyone is still "washington elites" except for the President.. when almost all of the Congress & Senate blew up in the first episode.. so it SHOULD be a whole NEW government. I kinda feel like they missed the ball with that in season 2 & 3.
And yeah if I'd know it was like that I might have skipped it too, but watching it as it unfolds wasn't.. too bad. The random gay sex in the 2nd episode was surprising for sure.
We’ve seen episode 1 and loved it, but need to find time to finish it up. It’s even better than I imagined when first hearing about it a few months back.
Finished Stranger Things 3 last night. I had a loooooong break on the final episode. Watched the first ten minutes weeks ago and then stopped it till last night.
It was ok, I could have done with the "coming out" moment with Robin....that was just too forced. Why did they feel the need to inject that?
Other than that, I hoped the whole thing would simply end and they wouldn't leave it open for another sequel. Which of course didn't happen. I just don't know that they can get the same effect/feeling if these kids are running around about to hit 20. They really, REALLY need to let this go.
Yeah ST3 was.. okay. I mean, I enjoyed it, but Season 1 was almost TOO good, where no sequel season could ever really live up to it. I rolled my eyes at the Robin scene, but I didn't see it coming AT ALL, so I thought they did a good job with a swerve there.. poor Steve Harrington. I hope they're filming season 4 & 5 soon so they get it done before the kids grow up more. I'm fine with 1 or 2 more seasons to finish whatever the heck they've got planned. Maybe 1987 and 1989?
Would be interesting if somehow the events in the last season correspond with the Berlin Wall going down.
Also.. THE BOYS.. So damn good. SO GOOD. Man I want more, right now! Insane how good it was. I was giddy the whole time. One of my old co-workers did Homelanders costume (she does costumes for movies & tv).
Finished up the series finale of Legion. Man that show was such a weird, awesome ride. I wish I knew more about the related comics before hand. Though sometimes that can be a curse. I wish it hadn't ended as I'd love to see more.

Homelander’s costume is awesome, so give your friend a pat on the back for me. This is easily my favorite show at the moment and I put it up there with season 1 of Stranger things, Game of Thrones and Westworld.
Make up your minds already. How bad was that pilot to get booted?
House of the Dragon
After scrapping one Thrones pilot, HBO has actually ordered another to series. The previously untitled Targaryen-themed spinoff based on George R.R. Martin’s retelling of the House’s history in Fire & Blood will be produced by Martin and Colony’s Ryan J. Condal, with Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik also on board to direct and executive produce.
I'd be down for another cool Lego show. I watched a pretty good documentary on Lego not too long ago.
As for The Witcher... Yeah, no. To me the bleached wig/extensions/whatever is even more distracting than the (visible and invisible) pornstache he had for IM.
