Yeah for sure, I've grabbed 2 of the 3-packs so far.. and might get more if I see the Joe one with Mouse/etc, as it seems like the best "trooper" builder.

At $10 a figure.. fuck, there's no way I can afford to get enough of the cool 'parts' to do customs with.

Seriously, all of those 3 packs have decent shit. All make for some usefulness. I can't justify buying Colton for the headsculpt. As much as I want a Tears of the Sun custom.

the 3 packs are better deal but you're only getting 1 or maybe 2 figures that are worth a shit with them. At least with the single figures you can pick and choose what you want. At the end of the day, it's all over it off and they are cornholing us.

I dunno, I think the 3-pack with Airborne, Mouse, and Snake Eyes is GREAT! All three are usable for military customs.. once you toss the ninja crap in the garbage haha.

The Cobra one comes with a stupid Storm Shadow, so that sucks.

Funny thing is that none of the figures are getting that much on those markets to make it worth it.

Must've hit my Target at just the right time, they had a full compliment of wave 2.5 or whatever it is. Looking forward to seeing how the SDS Bruce Willis head looks on the Colton body.

Saw a She-Hulk over the weekend.. looks cool but damn, it was like $11.27!

Saw a couple of Wave 1 Cobra Troopers and a Flint.. but damn, $10 just made me put them all back. I remember putting back Shock Troopers at TRU when they were priced $8.99.. not sure I can justify this new crap.

LOTS AND LOTS of 3-packs though, which is good I guess.

I'm really in the same boat, no pun intended!

But, then again, if 21st had released that PBR I still would have bought the fuck out of it.

Anyhoo, Chuckles + this boat + 1:18 bundles of "coke" = WINNING!

I may get this when I go back up to the lake today. I was up in the air last week on it. I'm trying to think how I might be able to keep somebody standing up on the wakeboard in order to tow them.

Picked up the "Ninja" COmbat Cruiser for $9.98 at Target last night. Looks like the vehicles and roleplay stuff are on clearance, but not the figures.

Sad that in six years we've been trained to think $7 is a good deal

Figures were what, $1.99-$2.99 when we were kids?...then 20+ years later in 2007 they were $4.00-$4.99...that's some slow inflation...

But then, between 2007 and now they go from $4.00-$4.99 to $10.00 plus?! WTF?!

'07 is when the economy augured in. I'm not gonna say the rate of increase is appropriate, but at least some of the inflation is legit.

What line of figures was $4.99 in 2007? Star Wars was $6.99-$7.99 in that year.

In 95-97 they were $4.99 or so though.

Joes in 2007 were $6.99-$7.99 as well.

No, when 25th joes started, they were $4.99 MSRP at every WM in the country (when you could find them. There were distribution issues, not like now where you can.... oh wait).

People got their shorts in a twist when Target started charging $5.49...
